(especially for MTNs)

This is my first thread here, and I want to share something that happened to me this year.
I know some of you might call this cope, since in this forum we often reduce everything to looks. And yes, looks matter. But it’s not only about conventional beauty.

Nichemaxxing is the path for the MTN who wants sex, fun, and real friendships.

Once you’re MTN, nichemaxxing becomes more important than looksmaxxing — but it only works if you have at least some personality to bring with you.

What I Mean by Nichemaxxing

Nichemaxxing is choosing a specific subculture and going deep enough to actually belong to it.
Not just copying the style (even though the style is the 80/20).
It means being physically present in the same places, parties, shows, conversations, references, and social loops that the niche is built on.
It means forming relationships inside that cultural ecosystem.

My Experience

I did looksmaxxing first.
I went from LLTN to MTN, maybe HMTN depending on the day. I wear boots that put me at around 195 cm.

After that, I started going to normal, mainstream nightlife.
The music was bad, the people felt the same, and the girls were defensive.
They could already tell I was there to hook up, which makes interactions low-quality and predictable.

Then I just started going to the places I actually liked:
darkwave parties, post-punk nights, black metal and death/thrash metal shows.

On the first night doing this, I met a girl more interesting than anyone I had met in a year of going to mainstream clubs.
The conversation was natural. The kiss was better. The sex was better. No overthinking, no games, no defensiveness.

The week after, we went to a show together and ended up at her place.

Around the same time, a friend of mine who is literally LMTN and 170 cm was showing me pictures of him at shows with girls.
He was getting results because he belongs in that niche.
The niche adjusts the competition and changes how value is perceived.

Why Niches Work

In mainstream nightlife:
  • Value is flat and visible.
  • Looks and money decide everything.
  • Everyone is playing the same game.
In niche environments:
  • Taste matters.
  • Social memory matters.
  • Showing up consistently matters.
People there go out because they like the culture, not just to get drunk and hook up.
This eliminates the defensive behavior that kills most interactions.

How to Enter a Niche Without Looking Like a Poser

There’s only one rule:

You have to actually like it.
If you don’t genuinely enjoy the music, the environment, and the people, it won’t work.

Then:
  1. Choose a niche you already like.
Don’t force it. If the music, the atmosphere, and the people don’t feel natural to you, it won’t work long-term.
  2. Show up consistently.
Go to the same bars, shows, and venues.
Familiarity builds recognition. Recognition builds belonging.
  3. Dress in a way that signals the niche without trying too hard.
You don’t need to go full costume. Just wear clothes that align with the environment:
    • Black metal / death / thrash: band shirts, boots, leather, spikes/bullets if you actually like them.
    • Goth / darkwave / post-punk: black layers, boots, rings, simple silver accessories.
    • Rap / trap / street: oversized fits, techwear, monochrome palettes, clean sneakers.
    • The goal is alignment, not cosplay.
  4. Make male friends first.
Male social acceptance in the niche removes all “stranger” friction.
If the guys in the scene recognize you and like you, the girls will be open and relaxed around you by default.
  5. Share small rituals.
    This is the social glue.
Smoking outside, passing a cigarette, sharing a light, offering a sip, rolling a joint — these micro-interactions create instant familiarity.
    It's not about substances, it's about micro-trust-building.

Social Network Expansion

Since I started nichemaxxing, every night out results in new connections.

I meet people from the line outside to the last drink of the night.
I get numbers from men and women.
I always have someone to go with to future events, shows, bars, exhibitions, whatever.

This creates an expanding social network that almost never happens in mainstream nightlife unless you’re a 7/10 rich playboy with bottle service.
In the niche scene, being part of the culture is status.

And that’s accessible.

Conclusion

Looksmaxxing gets you to MTN.
Nichemaxxing turns MTN into a life with sex, identity, and real friendships.

You stop trying to “score”
and start living inside a world where connection happens naturally.

If you're MTN and tired of mid social experiences:
move into a niche you actually like and live there.
It changes everything.

WEEDMAXXING (bonus)

Weed creates a micro-community inside any niche scene. If you smoke and she smokes, there’s already trust, shared vibe, and no defensiveness. It’s simple: “I’m going outside to smoke, come with me.” If she joins, you naturally step out of the crowd and into a small private bubble where conversation feels personal and relaxed. From there, connection happens smoothly, it doesn’t feel forced or like you’re trying to “pick her up.”

Also, weed connections aren’t just about making out. Smoking together is an easy excuse to become friends, build real rapport, and have something to continue later. And yes, weed girls usually kiss and have sex better, they’re more relaxed, more present, less stiff. They work well for casual and sometimes even long-term, because the vibe is already aligned. Looksmaxxing gets you noticed, nichemaxxing puts you in the right room, and weedmaxxing creates real connection.

like being as appealing to goth girls as possible

so just appealmaxx but you wanna be special

so just appealmaxx but you wanna be special
Thats is nothing to do with appeal, is more about ambience. You have more chances if you are in a ambient where you can talk and really connect. Read again the thread
