If you're not already addicted to nicotine, don't start. It isn't worth it. Nicotine is highly addictive, and the short-term buzz isn't worth the cost to your health or your wallet.
I've been addicted to nicotine pouches for about a year, and quitting has been much harder than I expected. It has messed with my sleep and suppressed my appetite. Over the past six months, I've also developed noticeable tremors, especially in my hands. They get worse when I'm nervous or cold. As I'm typing this, whenever i lift my thumb to press the spacebar it shivers lol, my hands are literally shaking on the keyboard. These tremors are also a huge problem in the gym. They make it harder to control the weight properly, especially during exercises that require stability or when pushing heavy weight
I was on vacation for a few weeks without any nicotine and thought that would help me quit. Even though i went 14 days without anything the moment I got home, the cravings came back almost instantly.
The best way I can describe nicotine cravings is that they're like being insanely horny, you can't think about anything else. Your mouth starts watering, and it feels like your IQ drops by 30 points because your brain is completely focused on getting nicotine, atleast in my experience ofc. When trying to stop i get these cravings like 2-3 times a day.
I genuinely don't know what to do or how to stop. I just ldar all day and i wanna stop so bad. If anybody has any tips, or have stopped yourselves, i'd appreciate your advice.
