Obviously smoking nicotine is bad for you but if you take it in pouch form (snus) do the positives outweigh the negatives?

Nicotine acts as a potent aromatase inhibitors by reducing the activity of the enzyme CYP19 which converts androgens into estrogen. Studies also show it increase DHT levels and improves metabolism. But, nicotine also hinders bone development during puberty. So do the positives outweigh the negatives?

Obviously these arent all the positives and negatives but i cba naming them all. Low effort post.
 
the aromatase inhibition and DHT bump are marginal as fuck and not even consistent. ur trading that for addiction, worse sleep, and fucked bone density while you’re still growing.

I dont really now about how much it affects the ai side of it but it increases DHT by 14% which is pretty marginal but could be wanted by some. Nicotine also helps with metabolism, appetite and social situations

apetite effects are true when u need to cut. metabolic effects are usually overly exaggerated, but yet pretty solid. ai effect-true.
but, if you actually need nic for social interractions then the problem might actually be your social skills and nic is not likely to fix them

nicotine on itself is barely addictive at all. its the added substances that make u addicted. thats why things like nicotine pouches are a way better to consume nicotine instead of vapes/cigs
