I need a guide thread on how to argue with a user online, on any forum and platform. What I noticed is that it is easier to argue with a user on .org than on Discord and Youtube.
I need to fix my mistakes to not reveal my weakness for someone to use it against me, and I need to know many tactics that they use to argue and how to counter it.
Also I need some IQmaxxing supplement to boost my memory and to rewire my brain chemistry to counterattack arguments made by some user who disagree with me.
Winning an argument with someone is something that I WON'T achieve (maybe until now), even in a million years, because of the fact that I have less knowledge about how to argue with someone due to .org users gatekeeping the knowledge and tactics on making arguments.
Winning on a hardest mission in some videogames (such as End of a Line in GTA San Andreas) is easy compared to actually winning a fight online in my experience.

its kinda like a fight

you can learn a few things

but it reminds me of that quote "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face"

its far too circumstantial

Good answer, but it seems that some smart bois on .org are gatekeeping the tactics and techniques used to win an argument.

I need to study @topology and @greycel techniques on how they debate:feelshah:
topology just brags the entire time and ignores the person hes arguing with, iver never seen graycel argue tbh i didnt know he existed

The masses are always retarded from day one, I dont value public opinion, this is why I look for intelligent users like @Gmogger that actually presents the truth unlike that one guy who says something for the acceptance of others:feelsez:

true but in the realm of online arguments, which this thread pertains to, playing the field is what works

I did not say this, I am certain that genge lose the fight because he is careless about arguing with jv, also reps are overrated in 2026 now that everyone repfarms, I care more about username color than reps:feelsokman:

you gotta be intellectually dishonest

and also what the other guy said: abuse fallacies since most people can't explain or identify them

This is interesting, do you think arguing with someone in my thread gives better result compared to arguing with user on his thread or a thread in favour of him?
Also if reps actually matter then does it help to tag my allies, but then the enemy will call out and use it for my argument tho, i am wondering:feelshah:

it depends on the opinion of the first few responses and the people who first reply

even if someone posts something dumb, but the first few agree with him the rest of the posters have a bias

same result if someone with 4UM CLOUT agrees or disagrees with you, most people are easily influenced

tagging your allies to dogpile the other person always works, even if you are in the wrong. it all depends on how people perceive it

if you can make the other person look dumb or make it appear their pov if unpopular you basically win the argument.

hard to coordinate

tag some other acquaintance i suppose

worst thing is if you tag someone they don't even argue for you

atp you are better off talking by yourself

i think on discord or youtube people are much more normal then a .org and despite them thinking they have an open mind to changing their opinion in an argument, they never will, in fact they will knowingly use loopholes in logic to defend an argument they believe in morally but not logically

also, why do you argue on youtube/discord though? is it usually race related
I need to fix my mistakes to not reveal my weakness for someone to use it against me, and I need to know many tactics that they use to argue and how to counter it.

(this whole response to this might seem kind of obvious)

in an argument someone makes a claim, then you either make a seperate claim (this has to be stronger, or more claims then the first to outweigh it), and/or disprove their claim

usually when i go in an argument i just read through their text quickly, try and disprove it, then i reread the full thing and reread mine
Winning an argument with someone is something that I WON'T achieve (maybe until now), even in a million years, because of the fact that I have less knowledge about how to argue with someone due to .org users gatekeeping the knowledge and tactics on making arguments.
i think winning an argument isn't 100% possible against everyone since some are resistant to change

the main goal for me isn't to convince the person im arguing with (online), it is to make a strong argument against them so the people reading are convinced, or make them stop arguing back and reach a resolution

The main reason I win arguments is because I hold correct positions. It's mostly that. You learn the actual arguments along the way with time.
