Fully automatic weapons really should be in civilian hands. In fact, I think it should be law that any free civilian male should be carrying a fully loaded M-16, or whatever the fuck they use these days without a waiver. We should be an armed society period. Days will get too rough in the times to come not to be.

It's the literal boomers and generation X that fucked us so bad. FFA in the 80's banned civilian ownership of automatic weapons. That was the boomers' fault and generation X happily gave a heaping of our autonomy to their employers (allowing the NEED for employer provided health insurance) which set the standard in America for all future generations.

I absolutely CANNOT live in a country where I NEED to rely on my employer for anything more than the money I must have to feed my family. Can't live in a place where I need to have an employer to rent an apartment. Nope, can't fucking do it and I'll baske in any sort of discomfort in order not to. I can't stomach it and the thought of staying her makes me want to carve as much as I can out of my abdominal cavity with a medium sized blade before dying. The thought at what the stupid fucking people only two generations before my own did to my country fills me with rage beyond what I can put into words. I've spend most of my adult life in the developing and 3rd world and can't wait to get back.

I'll always be rooting for America. One good thing is we do have guns. The ones we have are enough.

People say we could never take on the government if it ever came to that but I guarantee the people would win hands down in a war with the main governing body/military, in every scenario. I was in the military. On paper the government would win but commanders will not wage war on the people for too long before they turn on the government. The people have more than enough guns. Many commanders would attempt to coup and the troops would be on fire against the government. Civilians well armed are more than enough to keep the government in check.

They would feel comfortable taking the heads of those who told them to wage war upon the people, because the people themselves are armed.

My father worships the man because of the sentiment or nostalgia. I was born in 87. People born in my day and henceforth have absolutely nothing to be nostalgic for which separates them as Americans. Life is all but worse here in every way except for the amount of firearms in civilian hands.

I like being able to beat the piss out of a man and give him $200 if I happen to break his jaw in the case he were to call my mother a whore. It's understood by the authorities as well as society as a matter of practicality and I'm not punished any further. Most developing countries are like this and I think it's a must for a civilized society.

I USA if I beat the piss out of some who calls mother a whore my life will be effectively ruined after that point. That's not freedom or good for society. Our founding fathers loved dangerous freedom and civility. Nobody in China's gonna talk shit like that, even when they're mad, without expecting a fight.
