Been on oral minox 2.5mg a day for 4 months and have seen little to no eyebrow growth.

I will do whatever it takes to get thicker eyebrows. The question is what?

I dont really microneedle, so i will start that.

Should I switch to topical minox + topical tret and try that out?

I really need this, so any help would be awesome.

you maybe actually making progress but its slow so you cant see a drastic change and possibly your eyebrow color is light so its bearly visible still. if the corners of your eyebrows are thinning it could be a sign of bad thyroid health. there is no photo so i cant really help u

Regarding topical minoxidil, I should point out that it offers no advantage over the oral form; in fact, it may even be less effective or inferior.
Studies show that individuals with weak SULT1A1 receptors in their hair follicles do not respond adequately to topical minoxidil, and according to those same studies, 60% of men worldwide have a deficiency in this receptor.

As for the effects of microneedling, I should tell you that it is generally more effective and practical for the skin than for the hair.
The effects of minoxidil can be assessed after 7 to 12 months of continuous use.

Sparse eyebrows aren't solely due to genetics; I suggest you get a comprehensive blood test and check thyroid markers—such as Free T4, Free T3, TSH, and thyroid antibodies.

It takes up to a year to see full results
