no infraorbital hollowing with a bad maxilla?

I've noticed some people have no infraorbital hollowing even though their maxilla sucks ass, then I've seen people have infraorbital hollowing though they have average/forward maxilla.

in this image for example, chico has a pretty flat maxilla and should have hollow eyes in theory, however he doesn't.
what's the cause of this?

he has thick skin around the infraorbital area i guess i have thin skin and it fucking looks terrible you can fix it by fat grafting

the infraorbital rims projection isnt always solely determined by the maxilla's projection + whether the skin there is thick or thin is a huge factor
