All communities are a form of cope. If you like a certain community, be a part of it and do your best to stand out and be better.

I played WoW to my best and joined a mythic raiding guild, I studymaxxed hard to get into Berkeley, I was so frequent on incel forums I became a mod.

2 of those accomplishments sound laughable because they are useless irl, but real life is just the biggest community we participate in.

Whatever you join, aim to be the best.
