The last few weeks have been quite hard for me. I tried to tell my closest friends, but no one really cared. They asked me if I was okay and that was it. Some just said dumb things to try to get out of the situation.
What makes it worse is that one of my friends found out I was cutting my canthus. Obviously this isn’t anything serious or related to depression, but it is related to deep insecurity and perfectionism, he doesn't know that but to a normie someone cutting themselves should be concerning, especially their eyes. Of course he barely questioned me.
This was my first and last time reaching out for help. No one cares about you; their lives are too busy to care at all about your problems - especially if those people are neurotypical. People may act as if they care about you, but the depth of many of our problems will never truly reach others despite how hard you may try. Only you can truly understand your own issues. Then again, many don't.
