They align with democrats far more than with republicans. Don't trust independents, they are fake

joos or not, whoever got the power doesn't like conservatives. They are the only ones being censored

It probably varies on a historical basis, but over the past 10 years independents have, my best estimate, voted 50% rep, 35% dem, 15% other.

It's just for mutual benefits. It's extremely hard to control other people.

"An overwhelming majority of independents (81%) continue to “lean” toward either the Republican Party or the Democratic Party. Among the public overall, 17% are Democratic-leaning independents, while 13% lean toward the Republican Party."

This data is probably corrupted by dark blue States like CA, where Socialist types register as Independent because the Democratic party is not "progressive" enough for them. It is a different story in purple States. Speaking specifically about FL where I live now, there were actually more registered Democrats than registered Repulicans in the 2020, 2018, and 2016 elections, but republicans won the gov., president, and both senate seats because independents voted by a large margin for Republicans over Democrats
