Social circles are nothing, most of these people don't really go outside and meet with these other people in their social circles, only like 1-2 people in these social circles are friends that actually are regular friends and go outside. I have been in a high school or college that's why I know what im talking about. Most people there are separated by small 1-2 groups of friends that regularly hang out with each other, larger social circles than 2 friends are very very rare unless it's some groups projects where people are forced to work together. Having someone in your class doesn't mean you're his "friend" and you rarely hang out with most of your classmates except your 1-2 friends unless there's some class gathering somewhere in a place where school required you to be.
