Boomer men no longer talk to me with their brand of humorous but patronising tone like they did when I was in my twenties, now they speak to me like I'm their equal (I'm easily their superior). Men in their twenties talk to me with a friendly respect, like they know I'm still young enough to have an affinity with but too old to receive any bantering disrespectful jibes.
