The argument that eugenics “just resulted in inbreeding” is likewise inaccurate. For one thing, most eugenics programs involved the use of sterilization, marriage bans, and racial discrimination; inbreeding was not involved at all. It was due to ethical considerations and a misconception of the workings of genetics that eugenics did not succeed.Your post contradicts itself in one sentence. eugenics is selection, which makes people more unequal, not equal. It's the opposite of your conclusion. Also eugenics (central control over who breeds) isn't hypergamy (individuals picking mates), they're opposites. And every real attempt at it just produced inbreeding and mass graves, not supermen.
