When someone comes out and shares an opinion or idea, I autopilot into taking it as law. I genuinely cannot comprehend how people share ideas that they are not 100% sure in.

"This person has thought about this and has so much experience in it that he is deciding to go out and spread whatever idea he arrived at, to make other people believe in it."

But it is a huge let down that people just spread ideas in areas they don't even have experience in.
It is extremely disappointing and results in me not trusting genuine advice when I see it. When I listen to ideas nowadays because of this, they seem much less impressive because, hey, this entire thing scould be complete bullshit.

And time and time again, it is.

Nobody's ideology or beliefs are really that impressive to me anymore. It just seems like people believe what they want to, ignoring logic or actual experience. It's all hopium. I see this especially in politics.

I know it's water, but if it's so obvious, why do people act like it's not?

This assumes people don't change their beliefs based on what's right out of ego, believing they're too smart to believe what's wrong.

But, people don't believe in that way. They usually believe what they believe out of hope. Hope that it's true.
You can probably convince someone more easily by subtely convincing him that if your belief was true, it would be better, rather than trying to convince him that it is true

Some people don't understand that everyone lacks knowledge in some topics and they insist on being right while they r obviously not and try to make themselves that they know everything

Good thought. This is especially true when there's some basic principle that the idea seems to allign with, this happened to me with some AOC takes. I genuinely just assumed the "younger (but still post pubertal) = more fertile" argument was valid even though there's literally essentially nothing supporting it.

Yes, evidence shows most fertile is aged 20-25, the 'fertile' ephebophilia argument is retarded
AOC? I'm only thinking of that latina politician
