i saw a study that shows obesity is directly linked igf-1 well not increase but free igf-1 increases by a high margin

1995 Frystyk Study:

"Free insulin-like growth factors in human obesity"

  • Authors: J Frystyk, E Vestbo, C Skjaerbaek, C E Mogensen, H Orskov1
  • Published: Metabolism, 1995 Oct;44(10 Suppl 4):37-441
  • Institution: Institute of Experimental Clinical Research, Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark1
PubMed Link: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7476310/

The study included 92 healthy subjects (56 males and 36 females) allocated to three age-matched groups depending on body mass index (BMI): 31 controls (BMI ≤ 25), 33 subjects with moderate obesity (25 < BMI < 30), and 28 subjects with severe obesity (BMI ≥ 30).1

this study showed higher the obesity the higher the free igf-1 they did this study to find out why even tho they have low gh levels why they have normal development and growth also note children who where obese in their childhood are usually taller than their parent and peers and the key words are childhood and and usually there is also another study i could not find it will send it later.even tho kent is worng about the proces but chroncial high insulin will increase free igf-1 and lead to extra growth this is one of the reason obesity leads to cancer the igf-1 is pro-growth and anti-death which is the ideal situation for growth of tumors i am not claiming kent grew bone because of the sugar i am saying it does increase free igf-2 and promote growth but his plan was not ideal tho insulin lasts about 2-3 hr in healthy human he ate 500g at nigth which go to waste but if his diet is every 2-3 hours and spikes insulin enough it "could" have lead to growth i would love to be corrected if worng again i am not prompting his ideas his plans are not ideal for this also if want to use it for igf-1 boosting it is way more nuanced that just high insulin

damn this was a shity post will do more research and try and create a giude if people actualy see ts shi

gng go slow on me if i am too dumb ts my first every post

before you say low gh would lead to low total igf-1 lvl they actualy have simliar amount of total igf-1 lvls because the liver will beomce super senstive to gh and the small amount of gh will lead to normal amount of total igf-1 or sligthly higher or lower so it dont matter

guys how the fuck do i get more traction
this should have been intersting

Obese children do tend to be taller than their peers when they reach adulthood i remember seeing a study on this a long time ago. This technically goes against the normal approach of maximizing height which is lowering estrogens and sugar (fat increases estrogen and estrogen closes growth plates).

but reach similar final height because of bonematuration so height effects are if you could slowdown the maturation you will grow significantly taller the but my point is it aslo has the same effects on the face exept bone maturation dont stop growth in the face(not all ways) there is also a retrospective study about how obese children's reach more developed facial dimensions tho unreliable thinking logical it plausible

Your formatting is pretty shitty and difficult to keep up with for most

Yes carbs makes igf spike, no one is disagreeing with that. It just doesnt mean it results in facial changes

i said chronic raise not spikes. spikes do nothing since insulin goes back there also a retrospective study that shows obese children achieve higher final facial dimensions tho not definite proof it shows my theoretical train of thought is plausible
