I'll be taking the C2 proficiency exam in 2021, which will grant me the highest-level qualification.

imagine thinking foreigners have better / same english than native (C2)

meme of a test.
That's very true, probably. My TOEFL/IELTS score is 116 and the maximum score you can achieve there is 120.
I should pass it with flying colours tbh.

And let's be honest, a true native will ''rekt'' you irl in any english scenario unless very specific to you. i'm not sayin your english is bad or anything like that, but if you pick up a philosophy book you will understand what i'm talking about. or a real fiction book. so many words you wouldn't know but the native guys know it without even try. it's only normal..they have years of exposure on us.

Yeah, exposure is always going to be the most efficient way of properly acquiring L2 (If you want to match a native speaker, at least), preferably from a young age onwards.
Most people acquire maximum L2 proficiency in an 'artificial' manner (I did too), which will always make your speech sound less authentic compared to a native speaker, no matter how good your proficiency is.
