There is a hadith that basically allows plastic surgery, but only if it’s “restorative” (so it can’t be purely cosmetic). Since I have undoubtedly broken my nose many times, I am allowed to go for a rhinoplasty. But if I was born like this, then I wouldn’t have been allowed to.
