Noob here, is 1% Retinol Serum more or less the same as Tretinoin ?

Found a product advertised as "1% Retinol Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E" for $18 bucks CAD...Comes as a 30 ml/1 fl. oz liquid and dropper Would it substitute for Tretinion ?

It'll help wrinkles. But dont put them anywhere near your eyes
