I took noonpept for 2month and it doesn't really improve my concentration bcs of my adhd but I think when I love something like when I have to do research about a interesting subjects like chemicals or astronomy I have more motivation to do those research 
and I think its not placebo and noopept helped me for that and I remember more things and longer than before, I think noopept is not cope but for me its not really useful because It made me more unstable, I think it made my adhd worse even if I'm taking adhd meds like Ritalin it didn't helped me for concentration and remembering important things about what I lear in school so if someone have a nootropics that could help me for that and that works better than noopept just give me some advice
