Please read each molecule
So I'm a significantly ND black guy from the city who went to a specialized high school (smart kids) and I have a bunch of normie friends from HS that I still hang out with, and one thing I've noticed is that they're all pretty succesful with women and have been for years. Most of them are pretty average looking, some of them maybe below average, but all of them can get female attention. They can reach across race too. My Bengali friend has a pretty cute white girlfriend that he's been with for years. Our stereotypical Jewish homeboy (I think he's Ashkenazi but he looks kinda brown) has a girl. Our sleazy white homeboy with edgy humor who's put on some pounds over the years has a girl.
Here are some reasons why I think they (and people like them) able to be succesful despite not being particularly hot visually
- First off, they're all intelligent, while not falling into the pitfall of being geeks. Our high school was gatekept in a way that pretty much everyone that got in had an above average intelligence level. However, it wasnt just a bunch of nerdy NY Asian kids. Certain people just had a higher degree of social pull.The friend group I'm talking about were largely the "cool kids" there. Combine that with the intelligence and you get a dangerous combo. Low inhib + high EQ + high IQ = max personality
- They're mostly NT, or with neurodivergences that have a minimal effect on social skills. Out of our friend group I struggle with women the most, (though I've still got some attention over the years) and I really think it's because I'm kind of spergy. I'm needy and awkward and clingy and severely OCD. I talk to myself for hours. I have nerdy and juvenile interests. Possibly on the spectrum. I only exhibit good "game" once in a blue moon. All of this is possibly even more offputting due to the fact that I'm black and black people are supposed to be suave and gangster. ND pill is brutal and part of why I'm gonna have to become above average to find a suitable girl.
- NY is a diverse blue city with tons of young people and a culture that values being intelligent and cool. Interracial/intercultural relationships are common. As long as you aren't obese, you don't have to be ripped because people don't really care as much about that. And there are just so many different kinds of people. There's really someone for everyone
So yeah, I'm sure you've heard it a million times but remember that there are a bunch of confounding variables in attracting women, and the vast majority of normie men have never had to worry about looksmaxxing seriously beyond losing some weight, getting a haircut, etc (though that may change if modern hypergamy becomes even more exaggerated)
