your face doesn't look narrow enough for a palate expander to be necessary. the issue is your lower third, chin recession.

Yeah i recently notice that a better chin would help a lot but my parents agreed to get me a pallet extender plus I also have braces rn
Hopefully my chin grows since my dad have a decent chin

Wdym by looksmin ? Like looking worse?
I think mine is around 8 and it’s like 38ish mm wide

ignore those blue thing it’s to keep my braces from touching

38mm is already a healthy width, expansion will likely do nothing for you aesthetically. The general rule of thumb is that there should be enough room in your oral cavity for your tongue to rest on the roof of your mouth.
