Normal to look worse with short hair?

I always look worse right after a haircut, and it usually takes a couple weeks for it to grow back to a length that makes me look decent. I tend to cut the sides shorter and leave the top longer.

I feel this way but it's probably cope. Longer hair distracts you from the face, so if your face is ugly, shorter hair makes it more noticeable.

Well, it really depends to how your face is shaped. Some people get better with a short haircut, some don't

It's because of the width of your face and lack of good forehead and zygos.

how is your bone structure? if you have a long midface a long hair can be better for you than a short hair
