Most TV shows, moves, anime, games, music, etc all have to pander to normies because they're the largest audience. It's why 90% of popular entertainment nowadays is garbage and borderline in-consumable in many cases. Anime has it the worst in this regard since it panders mostly to incels now (literally half the shows are isekai fantasies where some loser wakes up in another world where all the girls want him for some reason), but most mediums in general all suffer for having to pander to the average normshit.

I remember how even just 20 years ago (I was about 14 years old then) entertainment was better, being less woke, less bluepilled, pandered less to ugly losers, fewer social messages or at least they weren't as cringe.

Imagine a world where normies did not exist. How clear. How pure.

There's still plenty of woke garbage and no media in the West is pandering to conservatives unless it's something fringe.
