But jfl at bragging that you put in more time working at some shitty restaurant or retail store. I once got a job at this place nearby cuz I needed money. There was this one guy there who was like 30, had been working there for 10 years, still lived with a roommate and kept talking about how he was going to get this better job later (I got the sense that he wasn’t)

Probably didn’t make more than 20 an hour, and that’s stretching it. Most likely lower.
He still worked really hard at that job. I would slack off all the time and still got paid jfl. He’d take like 6 shifts a week and work the longest hours. I really don’t get people like that
