The reason you have access to the things you do (as the iphone/computer used to write this post) is rooted in this behavior. We evolved to cooperate to such an extent that everyone's life became significantly easier. On the other hand, as a direct consequence, we were forcibly and brutally removed from nature.

That's the worst thing you can possibly do. It’s the fastest way to be ostracized. As a general rule, humans are naturally kind, but only if kindness is shown first. This behavior is part of our mechanism to avoid enemy tribes and potential dangers. If you deliberately give off negative cues to those around you, you’re essentially signaling that you’re a threat or a problem.

I enjoy socializing a lot. Reading your perspective makes evident how our behavior is shaped by our experiences and how much our environment can influence, for better or worse, our experience in this world.
