I know lots of guys who deny this here. You'll get the typical "muh genetics" answer.
Although when you ask actual long face, downward grown and heavily recessed patients that are undergoing bimax with CCW and Lefort : they ALL had a history of low tongue posture/ mouth breathing.
I've asked hundreds of them in the last few years and they were not a single exception to this.
Maybe some people mouthbreathed and grew normal facial structure by a stroke of luck.
However, not a single nose breather had heavy recession paired with downward growth and steep occlusional plane.
