i have made many nose related threads before but this is the best one and I'm going to do more research but I just fixed my nose by pushing hard on my nasal bones, previously I fucked up my nose by punching it and I think this loosend my nasal bones and made me have a big dorsal bump from 3/4 but I took the palm of my hand, rested my elbow on my knee and put my other hand on top and pushed opposite the direction of my bump and I did this for 2 minutes and my nose noticeably got smoother even in awkward angles, idk if this works on regular bones because I think mine are loose from punching a month ago but this could be a method of slightly changing the nose without surgery

I think you just created swelling on your nose bridge which made your dorsal hump appear smaller. You probably still have excess cartilage that can be removed. The swelling will go down within the next few days.

do you know of any product that can dissolve cartilage under the skin, I know retin a can dissolve subceataneous fat, I will monitor my nose over the next few days, I monitor It by tilting my head down and to the side 3/4 angle and this gives my the harshest view of my nose it hurt when pushed on this specific area, i don't even want to get a new nose i just want my nose to not look weird from 3/4, I'm fine with the projection and tip,it looks straight from side but a bit big from 3/4 from I'm guessing slightly collapsed nasal wall

If it actually worked then well done. Do u know any way u can fix the tip of the nose going upwards? It makes me look feminine, i dont want it to be hooked, just straight

i would be careful with adjusting the tip because that can lead to being hooked, upturned nose is usually from underdeveloped nasal bones, and if its not pig tier then it shouldn't be a flaw, but overly hooked/ masculine nose can be a flaw in the eyes of women

Its not pig tier thankfully but it is a bit upturned, maybe im just overthinking it

I have a dorsal hump too and I think it looks quite masculine and cool. It’s important, though, that your nasion is well projected to enhance the masculine effect rather than just look ugly and poorly developed. This basically just means having a strong brow ridge.

I suspect when you pressed hard on the hump you inadvertently applied more force from the tip of your finger with the surface area covering the nasal bone above your dorsal hump (close to your nose bridge), since you probably weren’t making sure to apply force evenly and your fingertip covers an area larger than just the hump. This swelling then went down.

This was actually a good thing since it made your nose bridge seem more projected which hides the hump, whereas had you done it below the hump, it probably would have made things look worse since it’s just cartilage down there and extra mass here doesn’t really hide the hump.

What you did is basically just a safer form of bone smashing (no brain damage) so if it’s important to you, you can maybe experiment with what I said (focusing pressure on the nose bridge) to hide the hump. By dedicating time and effort to this you may achieve better and more long-term hump reduction.

This, however, can increase your nasofrontal angle which may affect attractiveness, but that’s up to you to decide. This is because the nasion may appear less projected relative to the nose bridge due to the swelling, and to combat this, you would have to make your brow ridge more projected which is a whole separate thing.

Tldr: Either own the hump and look masc if you have a good brow ridge, or, if you prefer and/or your brow ridge isn’t very good, hide the hump by focusing pressure with your fingers on your nose bridge to increase its projection with swelling and maybe bone eventually.

Nah you’ll probably need surgery.

Yeah I went back and did it and it made my nose. Have a less projected side profile and made me have a small bump but not hooked, it looks better imo I think I corrected something i misaligned earlier, and I pressed with my palm on the bump I think, not below it

Just make sure you understand the shape of your nose but generally speaking, any extra projection above the hump should reduce its appearance.
