A lot of fat office women try to not eat much at all and it doesn't work for them because they're literally completely inactive blobs and their body has no reason to burn off anything.

most people don't exercise, and most people who do don't burn that many calories exercising. if you run 10 miles a week which is probably more exercise than 80% of the US, you'd only burn an additional 1000 calories in that week, which is fucking nothing. even if it's twice that it's still fucking nothing

yeah so a completely inactive blob would basically have to starve itself for days in a row before it starts to burn fat. the blob doesn't need much to keep functioning at a blob level.
