You're obviously gonna become a little dumber but the prefrontal cortex thinning makes it worth it.

Proof: The 'flow state', i.e being completely focused on your task at hand, is characterized by deactivation of the prefrontal cortex so that fast and effective instinct-driven decision-making happens. Also psychopaths, which are unarguably the most effective individuals at whatever they feel like doing, have reduced prefrontal cortex connections.
