Mindlessly slaving away to work up the corporate ladder to earn a fraction of what young footballers earn in a week while being 40+ years old. Knowing there’s a life of luxury I will probably never have. I just can’t live with that fact personally. The people who follow this route (99%) will never in their entire lives have a life of luxury with an expensive sports car and mansion. Only now am I waking up to reality to what will happen after uni

Like let’s look at the pure statistics. 95%+ chance in 20 ish years I’ll be working in some corporate firm maybe earning 100kish a year with a family. I’m an oldcel and I’ve spent my entire life earning 1/5th in a year of what early 20’s footballers earn in a week

The truth is we dont need that much money to survive as we think. Honest to God

We live in a good time (phyisclaly; mentally jfl its a fckn goof disaster) ; but you can lead a good life earnin 100k an year.

Bro I deep down I need the money mainly for status. Imagine pulling up to events in a crisp white Lamborghini and knowing you made millions young while everyone your age is working at Starbucks or something. The status that shit gives you lots of people respect you and everything. But yeah most average people are happy with their lives won’t get depressed about it but I feel I need to do something
