Height pill is still true in Asia and some parts of US. Everywhere else it doesn't really make a difference if you are 5'5 or 6'3, face is basically everything.

it's possibly due to the posture, proportions, and camera angles

similiar with this case
Volk and Max pretty much has noticable height gap or difference here because the camera is lower and centered, which makes Max look taller

but in some moments in the right timing when they fought in certain angles and posture/stance, they looked like they were the same height and eye level
