Not the biggest fan of any of these people but the bullied kids vs the cool kids made no sense in my school

Especially for the guy, left is bullied rigt is popular left was bullied so hard he had to do resit exams because of isolation, people have zero respect for him, say he's weird, humiliate him, has no friends, everyone preffered the other guy for some strange reason, etc. but looking at these pics it makes no sense or is it just me?
