That’s a different matter entirely, and it’s a modern thing. Women have always preferred taller men but having a hard cutoff is a social contagion. As long as you don’t visibly look short proportionally and in photos people don’t really think about your height much. Nobody has commented at all on my height since I hit 5’9, but they did when I was 5’6, 5’7, etc
