Planes, cars, cruise ships all count too...
Public transportation can be done decently, of course, but you will never escape the feeling of "I'm just fucking cattle being driven from point A to B in a tin can"
It's scary, it's dehumanizing
There's no triumph of technology in there because somehow it's also really really boring
You're trapped with other subhumans and are forced to hear, see, smell them
