Nothing makes sense

I cannot comprehend our existence it makes no sense why this universe or anything at all exists.
Now I believe in god, but how did god come into existence???
There had to be something before that, you cant just come out of nothing..
Only thing that makes sense is that we are living in a matrix that was created in a reality which had more/different senses and dimensions than us which is why they can see reality from a different and possibly more logical pov.
It feels like we are some rats in a maze, only being able to perceive the 2d pretty much or like super mario who can only go left and right and doesnt have a z-axis.
does somebody have a good explanation? Any philosophers I should look into?

I think you are right but you have to remember that human mind is pretty limited and we have senses and perception trained mostly by observable realm. Where did the Universe come from? Does it really have a beginning as we define it? Some concepts can be hard to comprehend , like it's hard to understand the true concept of color for people being blind from birth. Not really, there can be multiple universes they can be connected or not, there also don't have to be any "space beyond space" out of these universes, but I can't go much further in the mental exercise right now.

There are dimensions outside of the universes. There maybe an infinite amount of universes or just few with different laws
