norm brained superstitious interpretation of cultural phenomenon. religion is a glue of society, without which society cannot function. it is what establishes trust through common customs, beliefs, laws, morality, etc. an abandonment of religion naturally leads to disintegration of civilization. this is why some (((people))) love pushing multiculturalism and diversity for everyone else but not for themselves, because they know religious and cultural homogeneity is to their advantage.
