You'll rarely see "already" wealthy people in developed countries ,especially those who live in the Scandinavia, flaunting sport cars, blings or materialistic items on the street. It seems like they blend in the crowd and just simply prefer to transit on a public transport.

OTOH, the rich ones in the developing countries often stick out like sore thumbs among the crowd, with expensive jeans, watches and jewelry. Driving a car that's way too delicated for their country's road conditions and post it on TikTok and Instagram. This might also apply to "the new money" or immigrants who just recently make big bucks in developed countries.

The explanation for these phenomena could be boiled down to the innate desire to attract mates, I guess.

The normal people are not subhuman scum on the already developed countries tho. So that might be a factor.

It's called old money vs new money

And as the guy above me noted, in third world countries, most of the rich people have obtained their wealth through illegal/despotic means. Do you expect cartel members or smugglers to act civilized and classy ?

From my experience in a developing country, gulf arabs are pretty much all middle class, some of them flaunt the extra money they have and others don't at all. My parents were always humble with their lifestyle and in fact were somewhat greedy when I used to ask for money.
