Noticed an increase in body hair

...over the last few months. I'm not sure if it's due to minoxodil or late puberty. I've been applying minox on my face and hairline for about 2 months and i've noticed some crazy changes. I'm 18 atm and i've started to grow a beard and i'm seeing baby hairs covering my huge forehead. Does minoxodil affect the whole body even if I only apply it too my face.
