I wasn’t squinting it was very bright outside so maybe I was without knowing but I wasn’t forcing it thanks though I will keep growing it out

Hair does matter, but if you are sub 5 it does not matter you will still be ugly. Its mostly about facial harmony and facial bone structure and hair comes later
