It's a priceless, enriching experience.

Having a taste of each part of humanity.

You really have a VR headset?

On topic tho, people here underestimate the thrill of traveling. You meet new people, eat new food, and see cool new shit you don’t see where you live. Most people here would rather LDAR and not leave their mother’s basement

That's not really "meeting" them, you just exchange with them a few words to conduct business with them.

My god, YOU’RE A PATHETIC PESSIMISTIC HUMAN BEING. HOW ELSE DO YOU MAKE CONNECTIONS WITHOUT ENGAGEMENT? WHETHER ITS BUSINESS OR ASKING FOR DIRECTIONS.

But that doesn't mean you're gonna hang out with that person - go visit the local attractions, eat, drink, party, doing fun stuff with them, etc. How exactly do you find people for this in another country?

Go to sociable places like a club, gym, fairs, beaches, etc. Could be anywhere, of course you need to go with a social circle to ease your way into interactions. It’s not hard to start up a conversation with people from another country, especially as a foreigner. They’ll probably be the ones to come up to you

Where do you even get that social circle if you travel to another country, you would have to go in a group of people you already know, not alone.

Go with family or friends to another country, it makes it easier to interact when you already have a social circle established, you’ll look more sociable and approachable. And there are tons of places you can go to meet other people lmao, its really no different from meeting people in your own country setting the language barrier aside.

I made a lot friends with White girls at Auroville, Pondicherry.

I also easily make friends with White people in Little India, Singapore.

Do they approach you or you approach them? And is there a language barrier

I mostly approach them. I wait outside the Kali temple in Little India and tell them that it opens at 5pm if it isn't opened yet.

I explain the Hindu Gods at the temple and give them a tour of Little India for free like a tour guide.

Well, I can't meet people even here, had trouble even when I was in school, college, when I joined various activity clubs, etc. - not many people were interested in talking or becoming friends with me, you can imagine how it would be if I would go in a completely foreign place.
