It’s warm here these days and I walked past sweaty white dudes and they would reek. They had a specific smell, that wet dog smell. It seems every race has its specific smell. I have also had the unfortunate displeasure of being around MENA people in the summer and they stink too but it’s different and while still bad, it’s not as bad as the wet dog smell. The only people I’ve not been able to smell are white women and black people, but that’s because I’ve not been around groups of them this summer.

Their houses stink, too— that’s the only thing South Asians I have witnessed being guilty of. It’s not even from their cooking, they literally light some kind of scent thingy in their home and it smells awful. You can smell it even when you’re standing in front of their house and the door is open.

To be honest it’s rare for people to stink here, because it’s a cold country I think. But it becomes noticeable in the summer. And usually people take care of themselves in order to mask it, using deodorant or antiperspirants (or both), so I’m not used to smelling bad smells coming from people.
