Now that I have money I don't know how to spend

Exactly. Once you have secured a passive income for your sustenance than work becomes meaningless especially in light of potentially having no kids and a wife. Really what are you going to spend your money on? Why even buy a 5 bedroom house when you will just rot in it yourself? Just retire and holidaymaxxx.

It's becoming a reality for me. It's not a joke. I'm 99% certain I'm just gonna be a loner rotter.

It's my fault shouldve taken opportunities when I had them.

It’s not like a 5 bedroom house is within reach anyway. My mortgage affordability in Scotland would be a 3 bedroom at most and in England I’d not even be able to afford a flat. Luckily very small houses and flats are cheap if you move somewhere with no jobs.

Another brutal 30s-pill is you are expected to own a house to be dateable but house prices are really driven by what couples can afford, not single males.

At some point it just becomes an impossible game of catch up because you’ve accumulated so many disadvantages compared to the guys your age who did things right (e.g. were NT and not ugly) and there’s no point trying.

just buy me some nice things :owo:

I’ve had that feeling for years.

Early retirement is the only thing that interests me because rotting at home is the only thing I actually enjoy. I am also a loser in the game of life and there is no point trying to compete any more.

Hoping to drop out of society and just NEET off my investments by 35.

I really just need food and shelter and some cope like internet. And to be LEFT ALONE - e.g. I can not do this in my parents home.

Having to work just for my continued existence to be permitted is obviously a highly stressful state, I don’t understand how normies cope with it. They perhaps just don’t think of it in those terms.

retirement at 35 sounds like a pipe dream, it would be nice though, no point in working all your life when you’re perma incel

unfortunately thats my fate the second i get out of uni. thats 4 years from now though, i still got a lot of time to LDAR at my parents place.

How much income do you think you need to retire?

Rotting budget:
Rent £500 (I will probably buy rather than rent but mortgage will be same)
Food £100
Bills £200
Healthcare £NHS

£800 a month, £9600 a year.
I don’t do anything now. So why budget for doing anything later.

If you invested aggressively and worked 1.5 minimum wage jobs while living at parents rent free you could get there in 5 years.

University is a huge waste of time if this is your life strategy by the way. You’ll never recoup the opportunity cost unless you have a long career. In those 4 years wasting time studying you could have been 80% of the way to NEET retirement.

Count your lucky blessings that you're not in the south of England. Most people here have given up trying to even buy your house. It's either going to be with the cash or inheritance of mum and dad. The average Joe isn't getting on the housing ladder.

Scotland actually isn't too bad. I'm from up north around Yorkshire originally, so I'm aware of how cheap housing can be - despite shitty infrastructure compared to the south.

Are the single male you should not even be bothered about even a 3 bed house. I'm 30 myself. Once I have freehold my one bed apartment in the south, I will retiremaxxx up north.
