During school, you have a purpose: getting good grades.
You learn, improve math, reading, and reasoning skills.
You are also forced to be with classmates, so you naturally make conversations and friends.
Unless you have an internship, summer break is shit. Unless you have close friends, you're alone and do nothing. If you have a job, it's probably some shitty McDonalds job in which you learn nothing.
