NT is mostly due to innate traits and personality type

As I'm getting deeper and deeper into studying personality theorems and Enneagram, I'm realizing this.

There are basically 9 different types of souls. They make up the 9 enneagram types

I'm reading the book of the guy who created the Enneagram (Naranjo), and he said that the upper types- 9, 8, 1 and 2- are the 'stronger of spirit', those that don't dwell on inner sadness, and those that generally experience more satisfaction in their life.

One could say their are the upper caste. Enneagram 9 is basically the closest a human being can come to a God. They see themselves in everyone. They are cool with everyone.
8 is the warrior. 1 is the priest. 2 is the helper/healer.

Then the middle ones- the 3 and 7- are like the merchant caste. They can push their sadness down enough and get out int he real world.

The 'poor of spirit' or 'lepers', according to Naranjo are the 4, 5 and 6. They find it much harder to escape their sadness. Much harder to get out into the world and experience satisfaction. They feel less satisfaction generally than the top types. They are basically the Dalit or Shudras of the spirit.

Basically the top types don't really have too many problems compared to the bottom ones.

I myself am a 6. It may be true that most people on this forum are 4, 5 and 6. Certainly the guys on here that worship beauty, worship PSL gods and fantasize about women romantically, are probably a 4. The ones who feel so much fear and anxiety to socialize and talk to people are probably a 6 or 5.

I recommend the smarter folks here get deep into the Enneagram. It explains so much about human behaviour. Knowing your type and really understanding it, can set you free.

You are who you are
you can't change your type

took me 5 years of enneagram study to realize that

all you can do is understand the key roadblocks stopping you from integrating

every type integrates to become similar to another type

4 integrates to 1
5 integrates to 8
