Im not a computer architect but I find that hard to believe. Maybe in specific workloads where the program can take advantage of Blackwell architecture's AI TOPs and Tensor cores. Most gaming and rasterization performance depends on CUDA cores alone

This is how one of my professors explained it to us. The CPU or central processing unit is like an jumbo jet. And the GPU or Graphic processing Unit in OP is like a cargo tanker. Airplane is able to land anywhere in thr woeld while the tanker can only go to places that have a port. But a cargo tanker can transport infinitely more than an plane. CPU can do everything quickly but the GPU can do specific things orders of magnitude quicker. What you need is a better CPU.

This shit only has 12gb vram as well.

this is only with their ai upscaling and frame gen shit, which makes your game look blurry as fuck and just generally not very clear. leading to you not being able to see enemies properly and all that stuff. so not a very good investment, wait until they show off the others or hope for the 4000 series prices to crash because they have actually good performance without relying on artificial enhancements. the 5070 at its base level is worse than the 4090.
