2015, 40 year old obese guy decisions he is going to bike across the US from MA to CA, starts a website to log his rides, and promotes himself as the Fat Forrest Gump. Took him like 10 weeks to ride 300 miles from MA to PA, by then it was starting to get cold, so he decided to drive to west FL and head west from there. Over the next 9 months he makes it to east TX, about 500 more miles, (a total of about 800 miles in a year) then the blog just stops without any explanation. Obviously he didn't make it across the country.

I think it is the tragic inevitability of the plan that makes it funny.

In 2019 at a weight of about 550 lbs he promoted the same fat guy riding across America plan on his website but it isn't clear he even did more than 10 miles before the plan dissolved.
In 2020, at a weight of 700 lbs, he appeared on Dr Phil with his wife. Spoiler Alert, his wife is also obese.

I'm not watching that Youtube shit! But yeah, something else with that irony. And something else must've happened during that journey. Perhaps thoughts happened. Such as, "What the fuck are you doing? You could be sitting inside a buffet restaurant right now! But instead, you're doing this shit. Smh."

But he could've done it! He shouldn't have relied on people's support. In order to become SOMETHING ELSE, you need to do it yourself. Fuck people.
