The Obicularis Oris is different from the “Obicularis Occuli” the Occuli is more well known for improving your eye area but im here to talk about the “Oris” the muscle that surrounded your lips
Why is it important?
The “Oris” if trained will be enlarged making a slight bulge at the corner of your lips, why is this good? It can help the improvement of a hollowed cheeks and improve facial definition, ratios and in uncommon cases even facial harmony
By training the “Oris” it will help achieve he appearance of hollowed cheeks by making the dent in your cheek more noticeable, stand out basically
How to train it?
You can search up exercises for it idk,
But made mine more prominent by sucking in my cheek especially around the lips and puckering my lips against the resistance (puckering is the kissing lip motion type thing)
Conclusion train ur lip muscle (the Obicularis Oris) and DONT mistake it for the eye one (Obicularis Occuli) I wanted to talk about it since it gets very little attention and is so underrated
