can somebody send an example of high vs low oblique insertions. I feel like mine are high but im not fully sure.

how the fuck there can be no tendon, how the fuck the muscle attach ?No such thing as that i think, obliques have standard insertion, the lenght is just the distance between ribcage and pelvis, there is no tendon in your midsection, would be useless since its just torso rotation, no need for explosive high recoil tissue like tendons
I meant bare tendon, like you would have in your biceps or triceps, calves and quads.I think logically those tendons are in line with the movement plane for higher explosiveness(direction of the applied force i.e they react from weight resistance from the body while moving thru space ), torso rotation doesn't anatomically need that.
