Obsession with rates?

Why are all of these tiktokcels so obsessed with their rate? Sure, a rate can be a way to gauge your overall standing in the world, but to obsess over it and crave validation from others giving you a rate is pathetic. It doesn't take a genius to figure out if he is attractive or unattractive (if you even felt the need to ask, it was over .)

Should be more focused on assessing your flaws and working on them so you can have a better QOL, but your worth is not tied to some meaningless rating that someone gave you. Not to mention how outdated the current PSL rating system is; almost no two raters are ever able to come to a common ground, and the formulas all have discrepancies in some way, as well as the use of some outdated ratios.

Everyone is biased in some way, putting too much weight on certain pillars (e.g., misc vs dimorphism)

Yeah totally true, I made a thread like this some months ago.
Idk where this bs comes from, asking your rating is never gonna matter.
The rating you have is reflexed to how people treat you and if you are intelligent enough you will notice if you got halos on you making people think positively on you without you putting any effort.

The brutal truth is that it is a coping mechanism seen as “harsh truth”

I agree with you. I always thought SMV was a better metric for gauging where you actually fit in because of the combination of your other factors. It's undeniable that height, physique, status, and money are important variables that should be brought into account for a more accurate standing.

Thanks bro I appreciate it, I'm just so insecure and it doesn't help that I'm constantly consuming blackpill content, which makes me feel like shit. No matter what I do I will never feel enough.
