Without nukes, USA and NATO in general would destroy Russia in its' current state. Russia has depleted their armor, weaponry, and missiles and is resorting to soviet era and even ww2 era weapons etc. They have destroyed their professional armed forces and are relying on conscripting reluctant civilians. The economy that is supposed to be fueling the war machine has taken hits from sanctions and is suffering from a shortage of manpower due to young men of working age being sent to war or fleeing the country. A bad prognosis for Russia. The only leverage they have is the energy they export to the EU. Right now the EU is in pain due to very high energy prices that are stirring discontent.
